Without further ado, let’s hear their top tips…
What’s one piece of hair advice that everyone can benefit from?
Jen: Hair health really starts from within. Things like nutrition, proper supplements, sleep, and stress management can all make a huge difference in keeping your hair looking its best.
Yusef: Don’t be afraid to try new things and experiment with different styles and products. As you evolve, so should your hair.
Ted: Every woman should change their hair two times a year. The colour, the cut, the layers, the length. It doesn’t have to be a major change, just something that gives you a fresh approach to life.
Sam: Don’t strive for perfection. Not only is perfect unachievable but it’s boring and looks unnatural. Hair looks much cooler when it’s messed up a bit. I love to style the hair, texturise it and then undo it to give it a bit of an edge.
Frederic: Enhance the natural beauty of your hair, don’t fight it. Nourish it with the proper care and styling and find the haircut that best suits your face shape, hair texture and lifestyle.
Chris: Use your hair as a way to express yourself, your personality and individual style. And don’t be afraid of changing it up from time to time for a fresh look that suits your personal style and mood. A good style is one that makes you feel confident!
What’s your 60-second ultimate styling hack that creates an instant transformation?
Jen: The easiest way to add styling that takes less than 60 seconds, is to change your part after styling. For example, if you styled your hair with a middle part, flip your hair to a side part and it’ll add instant volume and completely transform the style.
Ted: Spray a great texturising product on dry hair and blast with a blowdryer to get the ultimate volume.
Sam: It’s actually less than 60 seconds! Tip your head upside down, spray my Cool Girl Texturizing Spray throughout the hair and then rough it up with your fingers to style it. Whatever you do, don’t brush it!
Charlotte: Always use a diffuser for bouncy, soft curls, more volume and a defined curl pattern.
Chris: Try flipping your hair to the side for a whole new look instantly. Your hair will feel more lived in with added texture and volume.
If you could only use one hair product for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Yusef: Elnett Satin hairspray by L’Oreal Paris. I use it for everything from prepping to locking hair in.
