The University of Minnesota Duluth announced the additions of Dylon Field (Director of Bulldog Productions) and Jesse Robinson (Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Events) to the Bulldog Sports Properties team. The Bulldog Sports Properties team oversees all aspects of marketing, events, promotions, advertising, sponsorships, social media, website, digital media, creative services, public relations, and communications.

Dylon Field enters his second stint with UMD athletics and will serve as the Director of Bulldog Productions. Field is responsible for live streaming, broadcasts, social media strategy, creating videos and graphics for YouTube as well as for the video boards at Malosky Stadium, AMSOIL Arena and inside Romano Gym. Prior to returning to Bulldog Country, Field spent two years in a similar role with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program & USA Hockey Arena. He broadcast Team USA’s home games on regional TV, HockeyTV, along with the in-venue videoboards. Field also worked on creative social media content including highlights, Beyond the Stars & Stripes and many more. Before joining USA Hockey, he spent a year at Elon University where he was the director of video production for athletics. He worked with the School of Communications & Teaching and Learning Technologies in overseeing a team of 40+ students producing Elon Athletic Events live on FloSports. Other duties included videoboard graphic creation/ management, creative video, features, and game streams. Field earned his B.A. degree in Sports Communication from Upper Iowa University in 2018. While at UIU, he volunteered for four years in the sports information office, helping maintain the Peacocks’ social media platforms creating videos, graphics and serving as the Producer for the 2018 NCAA Division II Wrestling National Championships. On game days he would assist with live stream set-up, facility set-up/ tear down, producing the in-venue Football show, while also doing play-by-play for soccer and the public address announcer for all other sports. 

Jesse Robinson joins the Bulldogs as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing & Events. Robinson will oversee all aspects of the Bulldogs event management, marketing, promotions, advertising and creative/marketing services (website, social media, public relations). He spent the previous 11 years at St. Scholastica. Robinson redesigned CSS’s athletics web site on multiple occasions and has integrated live streaming video for 12 of CSS’ 22 sports. He has covered 47 NCAA Tournament teams and 58 NCAA Qualifiers. He has been in charge of hosting 88 conference tournament/playoffs games/meets/matches in addition to 18, double-elimination baseball/softball UMAC Tournaments. In 2018, he served as Director of Media Relations for the NCAA Division III Midwest Baseball Regional at Wade Stadium, St. Scholastica’s first-ever time hosting a NCAA postseason event. Robinson was also the official stat keeper of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women’s Hockey Final Four in Superior, Wisconsin and the 2015 NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Final Four in Minneapolis. Robinson, a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Robinson was also a founding member and chairs of the CSS Athletics Hall of Fame and the Saints Sports Awards Committees. The Saints Sports Awards were established in 2013 in a way to honor St. Scholastica student-athletes’ achievements throughout the year. Prior to coming to CSS in the summer of 2008, Robinson was the interim SID at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from October of 2007 through June of 2008. While at UW-Stevens Point, he covered five NCAA Tournament teams and hosted a NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Regional. Robinson, a native of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in May of 2007. While at UW-Eau Claire, he worked under CoSIDA Hall of Famer Tim Petermann as a student assistant for two years.
