“We believe in giving back.”
That was the sentiment of Brian Lewis, regional vice president on behalf of Ciocaa Family Dealerships of William- sport.
As Honda, Toyota and Hyundai dealerships located in the 200 block of Lycoming Mall Drive in Muncy Township, providing customers with quality sales and service is, of course, a priority, but there is far more to the Ciocca brand name and its team of associates than sales and service and assortment of vehicles that are available on their spacious lots.
“We really appreciate our local community,” Lewis said.
As an example, Ciocca, he said, recently gave $15,000 toward the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, which provides nutritious and healthy food for people who are suffering from food insecurity in these challenging times.
Additionally, Ciocca personnel regularly donate to Kids for Cancer, and to the American Res- cue Workers, who provide shelter for men.
Moreover, Ciocca is involved in scholarship programs and apprentice- ships with the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
For example, the Honda PACT program at Penn College, offers stu- dents interested in such career choices as automotive technology, specific to Honda products, with real life experience and provides guidance and career opportunities.
In 2019, through a generous donation from Ciocca Toyota, the Williamsport Bureau of Po- lice reestablished a new K9 Program, a program, which is primarily funded by donations.
Now, city Patrolman Tyson Minier and his partner K9 “Tacoma” help to keep the city streets safe and Ciocca employees can be proud to know they play a role in that public safety assurement.
Of course, whenever customers are ready to get behind the wheel of a new vehicle, Ciocca specialists are there to help anyone through the entire process.
Every customer is different, “so we will take the time to look over your application and discuss your preferences with you to come up with a solution that works for you,” the Ciocca website stated.
It’s a commitment to community that all began with founder Gregg Ciocca in the 1970s, who bought and sold cars with a small business operating from out of his family garage.
From those humble beginnings evolved a family of dealerships that has grown by leaps and bounds.
Today, there are nearly 1,000 associates making up the Ciocca team.
“Our region has so much to offer,” Lewis said. “What we do we do for people in our market area,” he said.
