A Walt Disney World tradition nearly as old as the Florida resort is coming back this summer.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue will return to Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on June 23 for the first time since the pandemic, Disney Parks announced Tuesday. Reservations open May 26.
The frontier-inspired dinner show debuted in 1974. Its return is the latest in series of reveals in recent days. The coming returns of Disney World’s Minnie Van ride service and Disney Cultural Representative Program were announced last week.
Throughout the pandemic, fans have lamented the absence of Cultural Representative Program participants at EPCOT’s World Showcase pavilions, where they represented their countries and interacted with guests. Their presence has also been missed at Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Disney Programs is targeting August for their return.
“The program will return in phases, with participants from select countries whose 2020 program was shortened or canceled now being offered the opportunity to apply,” it said in a statement.
No specific dates were given for Minnie Vans coming back other than this summer. The red polka-dot vans, powered by Lyft, were a popular transportation option prior to the pandemic, providing guests with on-demand, pay-as-you-go ride service throughout Disney World as well as to and from Orlando’s airport.
