Felony arrests
Not reporting as sex offender — Jessie Samuel Arguelles, 32, of no reported address, Medford. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for failing to report as a sex offender after being arrested for misdemeanors and probation violations. Arguelles is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Sexual abuse — Jimmy Dean Gairson, 46, of the 100 block of Fawn Circle, Shady Cove. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sexual penetration. Gairson is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $500,000 bail.
Theft — Roy Everett Hays-Pound, 46, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for failing to appear for first-degree theft. Hays-Pound is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $7,500 bail.
Unauthorized use of vehicle — Michelle Angela Lee Holden, 25, of the 2600 block of Terrmont Street, White City. She was arrested by Medford police Friday for a warrant issued in Douglas County.for possession of a stolen vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle and misdemeanor. Holden is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail.
Sexual abuse — Chris Allen Lanham, 32, of the 500 block of Burgundy Circle, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Thursday for two counts each of first-degree sexual abuse and unlawful sexual penetration as well as one count of unlawful delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance to a minor. Lanham is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $500,000 bail.
Sexual abuse — Travis Jens Lee Basham, 29, of Northridge Terrace, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for two counts each of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy as well as one count of incest and misdemeanors. Basham is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $255,000 bail.
Unauthorized use of vehicle — Coty James Meilike, 28, of the 1900 block of Alpine Court, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors and a parole violation. Meilike is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Burglary — Robert Dale Moore, 29, of the 100 block of East Gregory Road, Central Point. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, attempted second-degree assault, being a felon in possession of a firearm and two counts each of second-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Unlawful use of weapon — Jason Michael Ostreicher, 38, of the 700 block of Highland Avenue, Medford. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Thursday for unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanors. Ostreicher is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail for an earlier parole violation.
Criminal mischief — Aaron Douglass Pratt, 43, of no reported address, Medford. He was arrested by Medford police Friday for first-degree criminal mischief. Pratt was released on his own recognizance.
Unauthorized use of vehicle — Cornelio Reyes Jr., 27, of no reported address, White City. He was charged by the Jackson County Circuit Court Friday for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Criminal mischief — David Stuart Walden, 60, of no reported address, Rogue River. He was arrested by Rogue River police Thursday for failing to appear for first-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanors. Walden was released on his own recognizance.
