“It is very essential to know your symptoms,” says Ranglani and adds that acne, hair fall and even depression are the outcomes of gluten intolerance. “It is what you eat regularly that affects you,” she says. “If you are allergic to it, substitute it,” she adds.
The most common symptom of gluten intolerance is bloating. If you feel discomfort after having a meal of grains, do keep it under observation. Check if it occurs always and if it does you should cut off gluten from your diet.
Other symptoms of gluten intolerance are skin rashes, constipation, weight loss, diarrhea, headache, depression and tiredness.
Once you find out that you are allergic to gluten, only then you need to switch to gluten free foods like Quinoa, Brown, black, or red rice, Buckwheat, Amaranth, Millet, Corn, Sorghum, Teff, Gluten-free oats.
