The Grammys 2022 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, US, on April 3 at 5 p.m. Pacific time, following lengthy delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jon Batiste leads the nominations for best album, which includes everything from rap to jazz and includes newcomers like teen sensation Olivia Rodrigo as well as veteran Tony Bennett. Comedian Trevor Noah will return as host, and K-pop band BTS will be among the acts performing on the Grammys stage.
Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Brandi Carlile, and Justin Bieber are among the other artists scheduled to perform.

Late last year, the US Recording Academy announced the list of artists that have been nominated for an award – or awards in some cases – at the Grammys.
It is not only US-based artists that have been nominated, as there are also some international acts in the form of South Korea’s BTS, Argentina’s Nathy Peluso and Spain’s C. Tangana to name just three.
Filipino-American artists to make history tonight
The 64th Grammy Awards will be held in Las Vegas for the first time, away from its traditional home of Los Angeles, and will feature a larger nomination pool of 10 artists in the top categories, including album, song, and record of the year.
Three Filipino-American artists, Olivia Rodrigo, H.E.R., and Saweetie, are poised to make history this year. All three have been nominated in high-profile categories.
