Grammy-award winner Gwen Stefani has finally answered fans’ questions as to why she doesn’t appear to age.

Ever since Stefani stormed onto the music scene all those years ago, fans have wondered why she always appears to be ageless.

Yet, on an episode of James Corden’s The Late Late Show, the star finally addressed the confusion.

But before we dive deep into that, let’s take a look at some of the world’s most beloved stars’ transformations…

1990: Michelle Pfeiffer…

Michelle Pfeiffer was one of the most prolific actresses at the time.

And it’s not surprising she was recognized for her beauty.

Cox is famously known for playing Monica Geller in the hit series Friends which aired from 1994 to 2004.

We instantly fell in love with her charming, and slightly OCD personality.

1996: Mel Gibson…

The first male actor to be thrown into the mix was Gibson, he was 40 at the time, and is best known for his action movies.

He got his big break playing the role of Max Rockatansky in the post-apocalyptic series Mad Max.

Not only is he a versatile actor, but in 1995 Gibson produced, directed, and starred in Braveheart, for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Director.

1997: Tom Cruise

Cruise is one of the world’s highest-paid actors, and considering just how many Mission Impossible movies there are, it’s not surprising.

Corden compared Stefani to Benjamin Button in that she appears to age backward.

“That’s like what the facelift is, I think,” she added.
