The annual Focus International Festival of Nations, sponsored by Iowa Central Community College, will be held from 1-4 p.m. on April 10 at the Bioscience and Health Sciences Building at Iowa Central Community College.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free. The festival celebrates cultures around the world, and features dance and musical performances, presentations, and display tables, about other nations. There are also tasting tables featuring the cuisine of other countries.
Iowa Central’s International Focus invites students and community members to have tables featuring other countries or cultures. The Focus International Festival series began in 1989 with Dr. Mary Sula Linney, a long-time Spanish instructor and administrator at the college.
