
FREEDOM TOWNSHIP — Kenneth Rowan, 84, of Freedom Township, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
He was born in Connellsville, Pa., to the late Harry and Dorothy Boyd Rowan.
He was a graduate of Windham High School and enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball. He later enjoyed following his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends at his camp in Pennsylvania.
Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of Masonic Lodge 246 Garrettsville.
Papa will be deeply missed by his children, Greg (Debbie) Rowan and Pamela (Robert) Kelley; grandchildren, Todd (RaeLynn), Kyle (Mary Jo), Brandon, Janey (Paul) and Rebecca; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 60 years, Patricia Lusher Rowan.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, due to COVID-19.
A caring cremation will take place at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home with private graveside services to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Ken’s name, to the Trumbull County dog pound.
