NBA DFS: Dejounte Murray and top FanDuel, DraftKings daily Fantasy basketball picks for Feb. 1, 2022

For the fourth time this season, Bradley Beal will be unavailable for multiple games with his latest ailment being a wrist injury. In his absence, Spencer Dinwiddie has taken his game to another level and shown Wizards fans why Washington spent $54 million to bring him to D.C. Dinwiddie has averaged 21.3 points and 8.3 assists over the last six games Beal has missed, which is far above the 13.2 PPG and 5.7 APG he averages on the season. Dinwiddie could be an undervalued option in Tuesday’s NBA DFS player pool as the Wizards visit the Bucks.

With price tags of $6,300 on FanDuel and $5,900 on DraftKings, Dinwiddie won’t break the bank. Thus, rostering him would then allow you to allot your NBA DFS salary cap to pricier options such as Giannis Antetokounmpo on the other side. But what other bargains are available for tonight’s slate of games? Before locking in your NBA DFS picks for Tuesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

On Monday, McClure included 76ers center Andre Drummond as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Drummond filled up the stat sheet with 16 points, 23 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals, returning 62.25 points on DraftKings and 63.1 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Tuesday, February 1, NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday, February 1

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday is Spurs guard Dejounte Murray who is listed at $10,100 on DraftKings and $10,200 on FanDuel. Murray sat out Sunday’s game due to a knee contusion but isn’t even listed on Tuesday’s injury report. The 25-year-old was filling up the box score before sitting out as he has three triple-doubles over his last six games.

Murray’s 10 triple-doubles on the season trail only Nikola Jokic’s 12 as the point guard is having a breakout season. He is averaging career-highs across the board with 19.4 points, 9.1 assists, 8.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, with that swipes mark leading the NBA. Murray should have another stat-stuffing performance against the Warriors tonight as the last time he faced them in December, he put up 23 points, 12 boards, seven assists and a pair of steals.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Suns forward Cameron Johnson ($5,400 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel). Johnson has started 10 games this year with Jae Crowder (wrist) out and Crowder is listed as questionable Tuesday, as is center Deandre Ayton (ankle).

Johnson has more than filled in as a starter when called upon as he’s outplayed Crowder when in the starting lineup. The former UNC product is averaging 16.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals when a starter while also averaging 3.5 made three-pointers per game. Going up against a depleted Nets squad that’s missing three frontcourt players in Kevin Durant, Joe Harris and LaMarcus Aldridge, Johnson is in line for a huge performance tonight.

How to set your NBA DFS lineups for Tuesday, February 1
