nikita: Actress Nikita Rawal admitted to hospital as heatwave intensifies

With the heatwave intensifying across the country, Mumbai too is reeling under the impact of the climatic condition and causing health issues for residents, including causing the outbreak of diseases like dengue and malaria. Ammaa ki Boli actress Nikita Rawal has also been afflicted by the harsh weather conditions and was admitted to a Mumbai hospital following symptoms.

Her symptoms include high fever, which are similar to malaria, thereby forcing doctors to keep her under observation at the hospital. Due to excessive dieting, Nikita’s weight loss and weakness did not help fight off the affliction and instead have made her feel worse.

Nikita says,” It’s a very unsettling feeling to not be able to work and be confined to the hospital. As actors, we are always on the go and hardly ever stay home even when we are sick but as my symptoms were getting serious, my doctors advised rest for me. I can only ask everyone to pray for my speedy recovery. I thank all my staff and everyone at the hospital for taking such good care of me and making me feel really blessed.”

Currently, Nikita is preparing for her upcoming Tamil movie starring Vijay Kumar Shetty. She will be seen playing the role of a corporate business girl. The film will be shot in various locations in India and Bali, Indonesia.
Nikita has earlier this year also launched an app for the treatment of transgenders as equals in society. “I can’t stress enough on the fact that they are as much a part of our society as we are. They have been treated very unequally for the longest and it’s time to change that. I have always welcomed them with open arms and have had my fondest memories working with them or meeting and greeting them,” she says.
