TRIBUTE TO VETS: A tribute to veterans concert will be noon Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1190 Stadium Drive, Boardman. The event is free to the public.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: A celebration of life event will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church parish center, 4500 Norquest Blvd, Austintown. The program is “Wrapped in God’s Arms.” Canfield resident Jeff Fusco will share his story of surviving a severe case of COVID-19, and Jeanette Levellie, a speaker and author, will talk of near-death experiences and how God was at people’s sides. PRAYER GATHERING: The Mahoning Valley Association of Churches Board will host the Mayor’s Interfaith Prayer Breakfast 7:30 to 9 a.m. Nov. 22 at Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. The annual event brings mayors, public officials and other people of faith from throughout the Mahoning Valley for prayer, an inspirational message and musical entertainment. PACKING SITE: Wildare Church, 7211 N. Park Extension in Champion, is a regional dropoff center for Operation Christmas Child. The church will be accepting boxes Monday through Nov. 21, with most of the loading of boxes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 21.

BENEFIT CONCERT: The St. Robert contemporary choir will host a benefit concert at the church 6:30 p.m. today following the 5:30 p.m. Mass. The concert is free to the public with a good will offering to be taken to help with the November food drive for friends in Kentucky during the holiday season. Nonperishable food can be dropped off at the church during regular church hours in the basement or office.

BISHOP EVENT: Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Youngstown will host its first Breakfast with the Bishop from 8 to 10 a.m. Nov. 29, which is “Giving Tuesday,” at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown. The event features a brief presentation from Bishop David J. Bonnar, a holiday bake sale, a raffle, a canned goods collection and “education stations” highlighting Catholic Charities’ various ministries and services. Tickets are $25 at www.ccdoy.org. The event will kick off Catholic Charities’ annual #GivingTuesday campaign, with the aim of raising more than $20,000 in 24 hours. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Orwell United Methodist Church will hold a special day of preaching, praise and worship 3 p.m. Nov. 19 at the King Training Camp at 8789 state Route. 45 in Orwell. Doors open at 2 p.m. The event is free to the public with a $5 parking fee.
