Russia nuclear threat: What cities in the US could Putin attack first?

In 2017, the Russian state media showed how the Kremlin would end with US cities areas in an alternative reality.

At that time, the tensions with Russia weren’t as high as today. In a tv “exercise”, Russia was threatened by the United States and named the targets of the attack.

With the new hypersonic nuclear weapons, the Russian state TV mentioned the Pentagon, Camp David, Jim Creek Naval Radio Station in Washington, Fort Ritchie in Maryland, and McClellan Air Force Base in California, would be targeted.

Reuters reported the information.

However, other reports say that you never should listen to Russia.

According to multiple experts, war targets changed over time. Instead of aiming too highly populated cities, strategists believe a nuclear attack will focus on the enemy’s nuclear forces.

By destroying the larger threat, the counter-attack of the enemy will be less fiercely.

Massive destruction weapons are the biggest threat to humanity, speaking during war times.

The emphasis in targeting shifted from cities to nuclear stockpiles and nuclear war-related infrastructure has a military value.

Where are the US nuclear forces?

If you live in New York or California, intelligence believes those states don’t represent threats to the Kremlin and to any other nation.

-Naval Base Kitsap: Washington State

-Jim Creek Naval Radio Station: Washington State

-Malmstrom AFB: Montana

-Minot AFB: North Dakota

-FE Warren AFB: Wyoming

-Hill AFB: Utah

-Kirkland AFB Albuquerque: New Mexico

“It’s exceedingly unlikely that such an attack would be fully successful,” said Stephen Schwartz, the author of “Atomic Audit: The Costs and Consequences of US Nuclear Weapons Since 1940.

“There’s an enormous amount of variables in pulling off an attack like this flawlessly, and it would have to be flawless. If even a handful of weapons escape, the stuff you missed will be coming back at you.”

However, by the military equipment, Schwartz said Russia has “0.0% chance” that Russia could hope to survive an act of nuclear aggression against the US.
