The Seabury Hall girls basketball team wrapped up their fifth Maui Interscholastic League Division II title in a row with a 50-42 win over Lanai at the Hana High School gym on Friday night.

The victory in the championship game of the MIL tournament sends the Spartans (8-2) to the Heide & Cook/HHSAA state tournament next week on Oahu as the only MIL representative.

Brittlay Carillo led the Spartans with 13 points, while Leela Waterford added 11. Seabury Hall led 15-10 after one quarter, 26-19 at halftime and 35-28 going to the fourth.

The Spartans won for the third time this season in five games against the Pine Lasses.

Souina Seiuli led the Lanai (7-3) with 14 points.

Molokai beat Hana 36-25 in the third-place game. Leila Hooper-Phifer led the Farmers (3-5) with 13 points and Lia-Chae Meyer had 11.

Tyra-Li Perry had 17 points for Hana (0-8).
