Texas vs. TCU score: Live game updates, college football scores, NCAA top 25 highlights today

No. 4 TCU leads No. 18 Texas 10-3 heading into the fourth quarter of a pivotal conference showdown in Austin, Texas. Despite featuring two of the most productive offenses in college football, the game has played out as a defensive battle between two Big 12 Championship Game contenders.

TCU running back Kendre Miller has taken over in the second half with a 75-yard touchdown run to more than double Texas’ rushing performance on one play. Miller has 120 yards rushing while quarterback Max Duggan has thrown for 87 yards.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has completed just 13 of 29 passes for 133 yards and an interception, but has found some momentum in the second half. Tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders has six catches, including a 24-yarder to set up Texas’ field goal by Bert Auburn. Running back Bijan Robinson posted seven consecutive games of 100 yards rushing coming into Week 11, but has just 22 yards rushing.

Meanwhile, the Texas special teams have risen to the occasion. Defensive back Kitan Crawford blocked a field goal attempt at the end of the first quarter and the coverage team has held TCU deep in its own territory. However, a late roughing the punter has kept a TCU drive alive to start the fourth quarter.

The Frogs have dominated the Longhorns during their time in the Big 12, holding a 7-3 record since transitioning in 2012. However, Texas edged TCU 32-27 in 2021 behind a career-best 216 yards rushing from Robinson. Both programs missed a bowl in 2021, but a win in Week 11 would set each team up for a run to the Big 12 Championship Game.
