These lung cancer symptoms may not seem related to the disease

Lung cancer is the leading cause of death in several countries. It is one of the most common cancers, accounting for almost 2.21 million global cases and 1.80 million deaths in 2020, as per the World Health Organization (WHO).

Reportedly, lung cancer accounts for 5.9% of all cancers and 8.1% of all cancer-related deaths in India.

As is known, lung cancer is the growth of cancerous cells in the lungs that can spread to other areas of the body. Anyone can get lung cancer but cigarette smoking is one of the major causes of lung cancer.

One of the most concerning factors associated with most cancers is that symptoms are hardly noticeable during the early stages, which is why it becomes difficult to diagnose and treat on time. That said, being aware of both lung-related and non-lung-related symptoms of lung cancer is extremely crucial.
