DALLAS – Sophomore Ceci Harness was named the Conference USA Setter of the Week after recording match-high marks for assists in a pair of conference sweeps, the league announced on Monday. 

For the week, Harness added nine digs, three aces and a block in the three-set victories over UAB and Charlotte. She is the first UNT player since Kaliegh Skopal to win the award in March 2021.

The starting setter has tallied a career-high mark of 733 assists while appearing in all of the team’s 108 sets this season. She leads North Texas in service attempts while recording 23 aces and is third on the team with 181 digs.

The Mean Green are set to travel to the C-USA Volleyball Championship as the No. 4 seed and face No. 5 UAB on Friday at 2 p.m. in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
