Vacant Howland house burns | News, Sports, Jobs

HOWLAND — Township fire crews responded late Sunday to a structure fire in the 2900 block of Harvey Avenue.

According to Trumbull County 911 dispatch, crews were called about 10 p.m. to 2913 Harvey Avenue SW for a vacant house fire. Crews were able to get the flames under control by 10:30 p.m.

The extent of the damage was not immediately available at press time; however, a 911 spokesman said multiple departments responded, including Howland, Weathersfield, Cortland and the Youngstown Air Reserve Station.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
