If there is one name from the world of modeling that everyone knows, it is Kate Moss. The super has held our attention for almost 35 years. Her career skyrocketed thanks to her mischievous face, hazel eyes and angelic hair. When she was still a teenager, the British model walked the runway for all the major fashion houses including John Galliano, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Chloé. She has also featured on the covers of numerous magazines including Vogue France, for whom she was captured by Carlijn Jacobs for the September 2022 issue.
For the September issue, Vogue France celebrates the “fashion new world”, with a cosmic Kate Moss on the cover, as she launches her beauty brand and lends herself to a photo shoot by Carlijn Jacobs. On newsstands and online on September 1, 2022.
The top model has remained firmly in the spotlight thanks to her numerous projects. A true fashion icon, she has become known as a designer thanks to her cutting-edge collaborations (Longchamp, Topshop, Equipment, Messika, Zadig & Voltaire and, more recently, Zara). Now, at the age of 48, the model has taken on the role of producer for the biopic dedicated to her, Moss & Freud, which highlights her artistic relationship with the painter Lucian Freud. Another major turning point is that Kate Moss has just launched her beauty brand, Cosmoss which promotes well-being and self-acceptance. Moss is the discreet type and her interviews are few and far between, but she revealed all of the secrets hidden in her handbag for our In The Bag video series.
What is in Kate Moss’s bag?
It is no secret that Kate Moss is a big music lover so we were hardly surprised that she takes her mini speaker everywhere.
Among the many other items found in her handbag are a pair of sunglasses and glasses, a Chanel purse with a lighter attached, her passport, a notebook, Astier de Villatte incense, as well as sentimental items such as a photograph of her daughter Lila at DisneyLand.
As for beauty, Kate Moss unsurprisingly unveiled a few exclusive products from her brand, which will be available from September 1 including the Sacred Mist, which can be used at the slightest sign of stress “to create your own good energy” and the Nectar serum, which is made with plant collagen and CBD, and can be swallowed or applied to the face before bed.
