Wendy’s Peppermint Frosty dessert arrives ahead of the holidays

Wendy’s first holiday Frosty hits menus next week.

The new Frosty is peppermint-flavored, and will replace the strawberry flavor that Wendy’s rolled out in June as part of a limited-time summer menu.

“The Peppermint Frosty is our latest flavor innovation on the iconic Wendy’s Frosty that fans have come to know and love for over 50 years,” John Li, Wendy’s vice president of culinary innovation, said in a news release.  “It’s the classic thick and creamy Frosty that our fans crave with bursts of fresh peppermint – every sweet bite will put you in the holiday spirit.”

The holiday treat will be available beginning Nov. 15 and throughout the holidays at Wendy’s locations nationwide, the company said. Customers can also order on the Wendy’s app.

Unfortunately for some, the Vanilla Frosty, which had been replaced by the Strawberry Frosty, will remain unavailable, a Wendy’s spokesperson confirmed. The Chocolate Frosty remains on the menu.

The fast food chain decided to unveil the new flavor after seeing the success of its Strawberry Frosty over the summer, Wendy’s chief marketing officer Carl Loredo told CNN Business.

Wendy’s joins other popular chains in concocting a special holiday menu. Starbucks launched its 2022 holiday drink lineup last week, as did Dunkin’.
