The Cowboys and Seahawks are set to face off for one final tune-up game before the regular season begins.
Dallas has yet to show much of anything this preseason, with key starters like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott or CeeDee Lamb yet to take a single snap.
For fantasy junkies looking to see the Cowboys backfield’s touch distribution, even Tony Pollard has yet to see the field in preseason action.
And that won’t change vs. Seattle as Dallas plans to keep the majority of their starters out for the preseason finale, including all of the aforementioned players.
As for the Seahawks, they’re still trying to get a feel for what their starting unit will look like this season. There is an ongoing quarterback battle between Geno Smith and Drew Lock, but Lock was forced to miss Seattle’s Week 2 preseason game against the Bears after being placed on the COVID-19 list.
Head coach Pete Carroll recently said, “I’m going to take the time it takes to figure it out and make sure we have all the information that we need,” on the QB battle, also placing an emphasis on this final preseason game for the two competing for the job.
If for nothing else, tune into this contest to see if Smith or Lock can win the starting quarterback job in Seattle this season.
